This template is used to mark entries which have their contents based on an entry in the 1913 Webster's Dictionary, either partially or in their entirety. By default, the template generates a link to an online version of dictionary based on the page's title. Sometimes this can cause problems because some terms in the 1913 Webster's Dictionary are listed under primary entries. In this situation, an optional parameter can be passed to the template in order to specify the primary entry which the template should link to.

This template is usually placed at end of a part-of-speech section which contains information imported from the 1913 Webster's Dictionary. An example is located at entry page for wolf (noun).
