Er befindet sich auf dem Gebiet des Bödele im österreichischen Bundesland Vorarlberg und verbindet die Stadt Dornbirn im Rheintal mit der Gemeinde Schwarzenberg im Bregenzerwald. Die Berge am Bildhorizont sind links die Winterstaude 1.877m gefolgt von der markanten Silhouette des 23km entfernten Hoch Ifen 2.230m im Anschluß das Skigebiet des Diedamskopf 2.090m mit der nicht befahrbaren Nordwestflanke zeigt.
English: The Loosen Pass is an Alpine pass in the Bregenzerwald Mountain with an altitude of 1139 m above sea level. A. It is located on the territory of the Bödele in the Austrian province of Vorarlberg and connects the city Dornbirn in the Rhine Valley with the community Schwarzenberg in Bregenz Forest. The mountains on the image horizon from left to right: the Winterstaude 1.877m followed by the distinctive silhouette of the 23km away Hoher Ifen 2.230m, following the ski resort of Diedamskopf 2.090m shows the non-navigable northwest flank.
